Set in the higher part of the old town, the property was established in 1955 and has been courteously managed by the Tardioli family since then. The panoramic position, combined with the peaceful, quiet environment and excellent services, make it the perfect destination for a relaxing stay.

There are a number of antiques at the Hotel Da Angelo, including a magnificent German piano, a carriage that once belonged to one of Assisi’s leading families, a number of antique copper pieces, period motorbikes, agricultural tools – all rare pieces from a world that is now lost.

Da Angelo hotel offers nicely appointed rooms, tastefully furnished in typical Umbrian-style, most of which offer lovely views over the Assisi Valley, which runs between Foligno and Perugia.
The furnishings are all in wood, in the simple style known as Arte Povera, very popular in traditional Umbrian decoration.

Travel information
By Car
From the North (Florence):
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Valdichiana.
- Merge onto the Perugia-Bettolle highway link and continue towards Assisi. - To avoid traffic on the Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli road, take the Assisi-Rivotorto exit.
- Turn right and then immediately left, following signs to Viole-Assisi.
- After around 3 km you will pass the road sign for Assisi, continue for 300 metres and you will see the hotel entrance on the left.
From the South (Rome):
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Orte.
- Merge onto the Orte-Terni highway link.
- Turn towards Perugia and take the Terni-Perugia expressway.
- Once you get to Perugia, stay on the expressway and continue towards Assisi.
- To avoid traffic on the Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli road, take the Assisi-Rivotorto exit.
- Then, as above.
